Dare to Shine

The wind is blowing while the sun occasionally peaks out from behind the clouds. Not unlike my mind at the moment. Spirit is whispering on that wind, but it’s mostly cloudy and confusing in my head with the occasional glimmer of hope.

It’s like each time the Sun emerges, so does an invitation to step into the light and shine.

It feels as if this a profound moment for us to consider our legacy.

I wonder…are you also hearing an inner calling to step up, be seen, and shine brighter than you ever have before?

Last week, I experienced the frustrating sensation of what NOT to do, where NOT to go, how NOT to invest my time and energy. It was a week of multiple signposts that said Wrong Way Go Back.

Then the invitation from Spirit came that was crystal clear for a hot minute. And I wondered if it was a joke. No way. I couldn’t believe I was anywhere near equal to the task.

Hahahahahaha. Funny. Sigh.

Sometimes our baggage, diminished self-image and self-imposed limitations would have us questioning our potential and capacity. We also have sound bites playing in our heads from well meaning detractors who also don’t want us to be disappointed.

And yet, to leave a legacy that matters to us, we must find the gumption to leave old roles and scripts behind us in order to accept that invitation to step into a new and improved version of us. In order to dare to shine, there are beliefs, dogma and mental constructs that still stand in the way of believing in ourselves and in what we’d like to accomplish.

And they simply must go.

In order to accept that invitation to shine in our full potential, and have the courage to create a life we love based in our true heart light, we also have to be willing to embrace a new story about who we are and what we came to do. We must dare to shine.

Distilled to three simple yet powerful words for today: Dare to shine.
