Dare to Dream
Today is a good day to go within and dare to dream.
It takes courage to dare. It takes an inner strength and fortitude to think bigger than what is in front of us. And most of all, it takes balls to go against the grain of consensus and convention.
I wonder… do you have the courage it takes to dare to dream?
I write to those who have even the smallest bit of grit and determination to dream big and small dreams into existence. If you are ready to stretch, then read on, my friend.
The freedom to think outside the box and create something wonderful into existence will not be found in public consensus or in maintaining the status quo. It won’t be found in group-think, unless you find a group of people who have the same dream. You will never convince non-believers that your dream is viable until they see it manifest. So let go of that hope of getting the well-meaning detractor onboard.
In order to create what does not yet exist on the earthly plane before you, must be willing to be alone in the pursuit.
I am well aware of the loneliness that dreamers face in their quest for a better tomorrow. And the truth is that dreamers need chutzpah. We must dig deep for audacity and derring-do. The courage to dream is something one must excavate and mine for within. It’s there. Right inside the passion.
If you are going to dare to dream, then also dare to be on your own for a bit. Keep the dream alive and well within. Immerse in it. You will glow. Then the right people can find you, because you are emanating the light of hope in your being. The key phrase here is ‘the right people.’ The wrong people, those who are committed to keeping things the way they are, they are not going to indulge your big ideas.
Distilled to three for simple things for today: Dare to dream. It takes courage to dare. The right people will find you eventually.
