Impossible Dreams
There are no impossible dreams. If you can see it, then it is possible.
What often feels impossible is the labyrinth of negative nellies and dream killers that must be navigated on the path to achieving our secret dreams.
Dreaming the impossible dream is like sustenance to those who are born dreamers. It’s the food that nourishes our lives. So dare to dream it because it will give you Life, vitality and purpose.
I wonder… do you have big dreams for the coming year? Is there an impossible dream that leads you on right now?
To those who have a tiny seed of hope in the womb of their hearts that needs nurturing, to those who need the courage to dream, to those who struggle to find the fortitude to bravely hold onto those dreams in the face of the seeming obstacles, I offer this: You will find that naysayers are abundant. Sometimes they even live inside your head. You must learn to protect your heart and mind from grinches, scrooges and wet blankets and stay the course.
Following your heart also means having the guts to put safeguards in place to defend the wee bairn of a dream that is growing inside you. Impossible dreams must be protected with vigilance and diligence like a parent watching over a child. Do be careful whom you trust.
Safe guard baby dreams from prying eyes and killjoys. And whatever you do, don’t let believer-shame in the door. You were born a daydream believer. Be a proud and brave daydream believer, dear one.
And then take action, no matter how small.
Distilled to three simple things for today: Dare to dream that impossible dream. Be careful whom you trust. Don’t let believer-shame in the door.
